You can use Equiem One to create email communications to be sent to members of your platform with your site's branding applied. 

Examples of when you could use a Spotlight Email include: 

- **Event reminder** - remind users of a particular event that is taking place, e.g. when you still have places available for users to RSVP
- **Competition/community engagement reminder** - if you have a competition or other activity that is coming to a close soon, you can use a Spotlight Email to remind users
- **Key site/building/retailer news** - if you have a News post which is deserving of a standalone email, e.g., a new cafe or other amenity opening, you can send an email about this
- **Important update** - if there is an important building announcement, such as maintenance news or road closures, you can send your users a Spotlight Email about this

- **Workplace Manager emails:** A user in your platform can have a Workplace Manager Role assigned to them and email comms sent directly to them to inform of upcoming work, changes, testing etc.
- **Important building comms: **The subscription override feature enables the email to be sent to all users within the building, irrespective of their email subscriptions. This is particularly important if everyone needs to be updated about something, such as an upcoming fire drill.
- **General comms to members:** There’s often a need to send general comms to members without associating it with a piece of content. Spotlight Emails enable you to draft and send an email from the platform without having to first create the content.
